Our suede begins with European hides selected for their softness and clean grain, then enters a small tannery in Tuscany, near Santa Croce sull’Arno. There, the leather is tanned and dyed in slow, repeated steps before being lightly sanded to reveal a fine, even nap. Each skin is then cut by hand and shaped over the last, so the loafer keeps a clean line while the suede remains supple on the foot — a balance of structure and ease you feel from the very first wear.
